Review

This book was in my tbr pile for so long. So I feel why not read this book. This book was suggested by one of my friends and also I heard a lot about this book on social media. So I decided to read it and I am glad that I read this book because it is quite good. It’s about creative living. Also, I want to tell you that I read this book as an ebook. I don’t have a physical copy of this book. Because I thought I am not going to like it. But it is quite a nice book.

There are a lot of good things which I like. First of all, the language, it’s very easy and simple. You don’t have to google every word. If you are a beginner this is the best book to start with. It is a non-fiction book. So it’s a good option to start with this book. This book is so inspiring and amazing to read. There are a lot of stories of people who turned out to be good inspirations and learners.

There are some good lines or quotes that I honestly love

“You can measure your worth by your dedication to your path, not by your successes or failures.”

“It seems to me that the less I fight my fear, the less it fights back. If I can relax, fear relaxes, too.”

“It might have been done before, but it hasn’t been done by you!”

“Your life is short and rare and amazing and miraculous, and you want to do really interesting things and make really interesting things while you’re still here.”

However, there are some negative points that I want to mention here. There are so many names that are mentioned in this book and it is quite distracting. She mentioned a lot of her friends in the book which is very annoying at some point. Because there are a lot of names dropping in the book. Also, at some points, it’s quite repetitive.

Secondly, this book doesn’t have any sort of tactics that she uses to overcome fears and encourage them to work. So don’t expect that from the book.

I know there are such good reviews about this book but I am being honest and myself. In my opinion, if we ignore the negative points there are a lot of good parts in the book which is inspiring and thoughtful.

Rating:★★★/5
